Newcomb-Tulane College Grants for Academic Engagement

Newcomb-Tulane College’s Grant Program awards $100,000 annually to support undergraduate research, conference travel, internships, and special projects. If you are interested in applying, please consider attending one of our grant info luncheons, email ntcgrants@tulane.edu for an appointment with a grant advisor, or take a look at the FAQ.

NTC Center for Academic Equity

NTC’s Center for Academic Equity provides grants for academic engagement and enrichment. These opportunities include but are not limited to, conference travel, Tulane Takeover participation, social entrepreneurship around equity and inclusion during the academic year as well as research, internships, and study abroad and NTC summer school between May and August.

Newcomb Institute

Newcomb College Institute provides funding for research, conference travel, and community engagement projects. NCI also supports undergraduates with funding for experiential learning and internships that connect to the institute’s mission of gender equity.

Center for Engaged Learning & Teaching

The Center for Engaged Learning and Teaching provides funding through the CELT Summer Internship Award to undergraduate students to participate in unpaid or minimally compensated internships that are based in the U.S. or other countries.

Center for Public Service

The Center for Public Service manages several award, scholarship and grant programs to help support students in their service interests. The scholarship programs are offered to students in recognition of their dedication to service as well as to support their service efforts during their Tulane

Phyllis M. Taylor Center for Social Innovation & Design 

The Phyllis M. Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking offers internship support for Tulane students interested in pursuing careers related to social innovation, social entrepreneurship, design thinking, and change making.
